Pre-Season is now well underway, and numbers have been good so far. Make the effort to get down to Peterson Reserve at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start each Wednesday from now until first game, which is on 15th April.

2012 SEASON NEWS
New teams in South Zone for 2012 are De La Salle and Heatherton, both new to the comp in 2012, and also Mordialloc who come back from Premier Division.
Werribee are moving up to Premier Div in 2012 - I think our depleted interzone final team may have given them a false confidence!!
Eastern Rovers have merged with Knox Lions - now called "Eastern Warriors".
Vic Country have started their own Over 47's comp. Gisborne, Geelong and Gippsland will move to this comp.
Glen Orden are moving to Vic Country comp.
Structure of Comp to be as in 2011 - Supers, Masters and Legends
South Zone is a 12 team comp and the current proposal is for 11 Rounds. Final four with Semi finals, Prelim Final, and Grand Final of South Zone winner vs. North Zone winner.

2013 Comp to include 35's, 40's, 47's, and 52's (or similar)
2014 Comp to include 35's, 40's, 45's, 50's, and 55's, same as National Carnival groups. Clubs to decide where their teams best fit.
